The Daily Deal…Hot Products at Hot Prices

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

From planes, trains, and automobiles to boats, helicopters, Airsoft guns and other hobbies, HobbyTron.com is using everything they can to promote their new Daily Deal. They have everything that you could ever need in the RC and Airsoft arenas. The RC Daily Deal range from today’s nitro powered buggy at nearly 60% off to Parkflyers’ high quality airplanes and even deep diving submarines. The Airsoft Daily Deal gives you the opportunity to get astounding deals on all kinds of Airsoft guns and accessories. From high powered electric assault rifles for the Airsoft enthusiast to small very inexpensive spring powered handguns for the young beginner.

“We have already seen an enormous response to our new Daily Deal. People seem to really be responding to our offering,” Ben Ibarra of HobbyTron.com said. “There are some days that we sell out only a couple hours after the product goes live. The great thing about our Daily Deal is that we aren’t just getting rid of junk. The products that we feature on our Daily Deal are hot moving items that people love. We just wanted to find a way to say ‘Thank You’ to our loyal customers and ‘Welcome’ to our new customers. With discounts ranging from 30% - 90% off the retail price it is a deal that is hard to pass up.”

So what happens when a product sells out in a couple hours? Are the customers just out of luck? “We try to offer our customers consistently great deals on our products. The Daily Deal is just another way that we are able to do that. When the product runs out that fast, we replace it as quickly as we can to ensure that our customers have the opportunity to enjoy Daily Deal savings for the rest of the day.”

HobbyTron.com has thousands of different products that includes boats, helicopters, airplanes, cars, trucks, other RC items. Also available are just about every kind of Airsoft gun and accessory imaginable, along with magic kits, electronic kits, science kits, and much more.

HobbyTron.com has been meeting the needs of their customers for almost 10 years now. Last year they redesigned their website, making it much more user friendly, they also opened up their new Parts and Repair Department, and now they have an exciting Daily Deal program where they sell their hot new products for up to 90% off every day! What will they think of next? I don’t know, but I am watching and I will let you know as soon as the next exciting thing happens.

Listening to the Experts Talk About the Palm-Z

Friday, February 8th, 2008

It is one thing to get product information from the company that sells the product, it is another thing completely to get it from somewhere else. What I am going to do here is give you a list of links to multiple reviews for one of our hottest products, the Silverlit Palm-Z. Let’s take the journey together and see what people really think about our products.

The Palm-Z
The Palm-Z from HobbyTron.com

First off, I figured it best that I tell you how we at HobbyTron.com feel about the Palm-Z RC Airplane. Our Palm-Z’s have many hours of flight time, and we have been able to do some pretty fun things with them. Because of the simplicity in operating this fun RC airplane, everyone here has had a go at it and has enjoyed their time behind the controls of the Palm-Z, women and men, old and young alike. This link is a collection of shots of different people flying the Palm-Z.

This review was done by Jeremiah at ModTecPC.com.
ModTecPC.com normally focuses on building customized computers for the business and individual, but they saw how big the mini RC trend is right now, and wanted to review some of the hottest products on the market. I like his simple videos and the many different pictures that he took of the Palm-Z

This next review was done by Shane McGlaun at I4U News.
I4U News is a Technology Life Style Magazine and Shopping Guide. I4U is always ahead of the curve when it comes to finding the next big tech thing to hit the market. In this review they go into detail about what they think of the Palm-Z and how it performed for them.

The last review of the Palm-Z that we are going to look at today is by Gizmodo.com.
Gizmodo is a blog with the sole purpose of writing about tech and gadgets as fast as possible. They review everything, and have a lot of experience in the world of tech. It was unfortunate however that they decided to fly the Palm-Z outdoors.

The Palm-Z is made of very lightweight, durable EPP foam, which, when acted upon by even the slightest wind currents, will severely hinder any attempt at proper flight. When they took it inside, you can see the footage of that, and it flies great. They did teach us something very important though. There is no profit in setting up a counter intelligence spy plane squadron of Palm-Z’s…unless the mission is to bother your sister in the next room.

HobbyTron.com Sponsors Local Event

Monday, October 15th, 2007

HobbyTron.com was proud to co-sponsor the Orem Pie Night Party on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Giving away hundreds of dollars of prizes, HobbyTron.com was a huge hit with the pie loving fans. We were live on TV with FOX 13’s Jodi Saeland which just added to the excitement.

For the Pie Judging Contest we gave away a $100 HobbyTron.com gift certificate to the first place winner and a Palm Z and Raven, which are a mini RC airplane and mini RC helicopter respectively, to the second and third place winners. HobbyTron.com gave away another $100 gift certificate to the winner of the Pie Eating Contest. All in all it was a very fun night, and it was great to have HobbyTron.com sponsor such a fun event.

Have You Ever Seen Anything Like It?? –The Silverlit Palm-Z from HobbyTron.com

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

Blue Palm Z
The new mini indoor airplane, the Silverlit Palm-Z, has made a big splash it’s first few months on the market. People are buying them up from everywhere they can. Because of the problems with China, only a few places even have the Palm-Z. Some places are already out of them or are not releasing them until later on in the season. They are scarce already, and if you think they will be around all season long, think again…

Why are the Silverlit Palm-Zs such a huge sensation? Let me tell you… The Palm-Z represents advances in technology unseen in other RC airplanes. First off it is small enough to hold in the palm of your hand and fly around your living room. The Palm-Z has digital proportional speed control. It is very durable being made of a tough polypropylene foam body which withstands most crashes. It is also very light. It weighs in at just under an amazingly light 10 grams! With its new Lithium Polymer (Li-Poly) battery technology you don’t have to recharge it nearly as frequently as older RC airplanes. Flight times typically run from 8 to 10 minutes with only a 15 minute charge. It also comes in three frequencies and colors thereby allowing users to fly up to three airplanes at one time. The colors are Green/Wave, Blue/Wind, and Orange/Fire.

Everyone who flies the Palm-Z will tell you that it is unlike any flying experience that they have ever had. Even people who aren’t RC buffs are flocking to this mini RC airplane because of how easy it is to use, its novelty appeal, and just how much fun it is to fly it. Anyone will be a professional-looking pilot in no time, whether old or young, male or female, with the Palm-Z.

Where can you find the Silverlit Palm-Z? HobbyTron.com has procured an especially large number of the Silverlit Palm-Z in preparation for the holiday season. They are confident we will have the Palm-Z in stock well after other places sell out. So what are you waiting for? Pick up a Silverlit Palm-Z from HobbyTron.com and start flying today!

Utah Valley Aeromodelers Club

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

This weekend the Utah Valley Aeromodelers Club will be holding the UVA annual fly-in weekend show. Here is the information direct from their website:

“For years the UVA has held an open house. This year we are shaking things up. This year we will have a Fly-In instead of an open house. I’m very excited for the Fly-In. All Utah clubs have been notified. There has been great interest from the Northern Utah clubs. If you have never been to a fly-in you should plan to attend. They are great for meeting new pilots and seeing great aircraft fly. While the Fly-In is mainly for those who fly RC we will have a few demonstrations on Saturday. A full size helicopter will drop by the field for a short visit. Now that’s something you won’t want to miss. There will be some great prizes in our Raffle. Including RTF’s, ARFS, etc. Food and drink will be available.”

It will be a great opportunity to check out some of the hottest RC Airplanes, RC Helicopters and other hot flying models.
